OLN Joins the Law Society of England and Wales to promote Asia
OLN joined the Law Society of England and Wales in London earlier this year to promote China, Hong Kong and Asia as the “hub” for business now and in the future.
Michelle Liu and Maeva Slotine represented the firm and met with over 35 delegates in London during the conference organized by the Law Society of England and Wales.
Michelle Liu said, “this has been a great opportunity for us to expand our international capabilities and to meet new clients and existing contacts in London and the UK generally. We are very keen to build on the new relationship we have with the Law Society of England and Wales and to continue our strong links with London and the international community.”
OLN Joins New Alliance
OLN was invited to speak at the Alliance of Business Lawyers (ABL) conference earlier this year in Milan, Italy. ABL is a successful international association with major links into Europe and North America and with ABL, comes Integra International, the accountancy and business arm of ABL.
At the Milan conference, Michelle Liu and Maeva Slotine presented to over 60 delegates of the ABL network. The conference was a huge success and OLN was invited to join ABL as part of its new network expanding into Asia.
Project Share and OLN
OLN is proud to announce that we are a member firm of Project Share.
Project Share has been developed by Child Welfare Scheme, to provide opportunities for Hong Kong students (aged 16-19) from underprivileged communities to work as summer interns in professional and international firms so that they can gain understanding and experience in working in such work environment.
OLN currently has two children working as summer interns. For one month they will learn what it is like to work in a law firm. Gaining valuable insight that will allow they to choose the correct career path.
