Biography
Chris was admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in 1980 and then worked in the City of London before moving to Hong Kong in 1987 where he has worked for two large Hong Kong firms being a partner and Head of the Corporate Commercial Department at both establishments.
Chris advises on a wide range of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, China investment, information technology and employment matters.
Chris sits on a number of advisory boards providing strategic planning and advice to commercial entities in Hong Kong and Europe and prides himself on providing practical business solutions to commercial problems. He has also written articles and conducted seminars on a variety of differential commercial topics in Asia, Europe and North America.
In addition to his Honours Degree in Law, Chris also has a Masters Degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications Law from Strathclyde University.
Chris has been recognised in the Legal 500 as a leading lawyer in the field of Employment Law and by Asian Legal Business for his expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions. Chris has also been recognised by the United Kingdom Legal Publisher, Practical Law, as one of the leading employment lawyers in Hong Kong.
