Chris was born in England and educated
at schools in Shropshire, Cornwall and West Sussex before
attending Birmingham University where he gained an Honours
Degree in Law.
Chris was admitted as a solicitor of England & Wales in
1980 and then worked in the City of London. He moved to Hong
Kong in 1987 where he
has worked for two large Hong Kong firms being a partner and
Head of the Commercial Department at both establishments.
Chris is head of the firm’s Corporate Commercial and
China Practice Group. His work consists of commercial, corporate
finance, China investment and information technology matters.
He was awarded a Masters Degree in Information Technology
& Law from Strathclyde University in 2003.
Chris has also provided in-house services to a variety of
international corporate entities and prides himself on providing
practical business solutions to commercial problems.
Chris sits on a number of advisory boards providing strategic
planning to commercial entities in Hong Kong and Europe, has
written articles and conducted seminars on a variety of
differential commercial topics and was a Hong Kong Law Society Sub-Committee
